Installing
the TOG System
The TOG System was designed to be a seamless solution, and installation is straight-forward.
A pre-installation site scoping by a qualified contractor is highly encouraged for a better understanding of site conditions, which includes the following items as important factors for successful installation:

Pipe size for caisson(s) and riser(s)

Piping materials (ie: PCV, steel, etc.)

Number of caisson pumps

Number of water treatment plants
(if applicable) -
Number of filters in use (if applicable)

Types of filters (if applicable)

Water flow rate
-
Power source
-
Location(s) to house Control Unit(s)
Other factors to consider when installing the TOG System:
- Safety is paramount
- Installation approval is confirmed prior to any activities
- Positioning of the Activator(s)
- Positioning of the Control Unit(s)
- Power source
- Ensuring installation does not intrude on any other plant equipment already installed at the existing site
Pre-requisites to installing
the TOG System
The TOG System was designed to be a seamless solution, and installation is straight-forward.
A pre-installation site scoping by a qualified contractor is highly encouraged for a better understanding of site conditions, which includes the following items as important factors for successful installation:
- An Installation Advice Report is to be submitted and approved by the department in charge, followed by a date and time for mobilisation of the technical team for installation.
- In general, installation for one (1) system with five (5) activators will take up to 2 hours per caisson pump.
- Care to note that not all pipe sizes on rigs are standard and its outfit dimensions can cause variance.
- Buffer time will need to be accounted for pertaining to the installation of the system, such as site scoping and standard rig procedures pre-installation..
